Looking to install Quarters, or need a clinic or refresher course? MQ has you covered.
In this clinic, MQ details how the basics of Quarters coverage and the different variations found within the scheme. Quarters has been a go-to for many defenses when facing run-heavy opponents because it gets the safeties involved in the box. Think about having a 9-man box instead of 7. Not a bad plan when facing the run game on early downs. This clinic by MQ is designed to take you through the install process and gives you the tools to input this scheme in your coverage toolbox.

Do you teach your safeties to attack the out routes in Quarters only after they have crossed a vertical marker?
Yes. We want ZN over short outs (look for Post). Drive on ball thrown.
OVO… Over the overhang. Otherwise, check for Post then ZN over… I detail all this in my 3rd book: https://www.amazon.com/Cody-Alexander/e/B073TT9SDN/
